Dr Vishal Janardhan Kole completed DCh from Delhi University followed by DNB in Pediatrics from Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, Delhi. He has 8 years of experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology. After postgraduation, he was accepted for RCPCH Fellowship in Neonatology at St Michael's Hospital (Bristol, UK) which is a Regional Neonatal Care Unit for South-West England and Wales. During his training, he gained experience in managing extreme preterm babies (>22 weeks), critically ill cardiac, surgical and neurosurgical neonates. He has completed a certification course in Neonatal Echocardiography and Neonatal Neurology. He has also done one year fellowship in Neonatal Transport including air transport. He has completed Diploma in UK Medical Practice (Liverpool, UK) and is actively involved in training of nurses and junior doctors. His areas of interest are Extreme Prematurity, Critical Congenital Heart Diseases, Developmentally supportive care and infection control. . He is a firm advocate of Evidence Based Neonatal Practice.
