As the saying goes Quality is a journey, not a destination, Rainbow Hospital's quality journey has been quite eventful. It is the first corporate children’s hospital in the country to get accredited by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH). First-ever IVF center in India to be accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI)
Rainbow Hospital's mission stands strong as it always strives toward continuous quality improvement. Our unending focus on policies, procedures, protocols and their adherence to infection control practices, auditing, training, and key performance indicators has only made our work easier and has put our institute on a pedestal that it currently is.
This path-breaking journey of ours has stirred up many innovations like capturing daily quality indicators to prevent adverse events. Every individual is empowered and is made a part of our journey towards excellence.
Adhering to the International Patient Safety Goals, we haven’t left any stone unturned. We have effectively implemented the International Patient Safety Goals.
Continual training and development programs are conducted for all the staff on a timely basis such that the staff is well versed with quality improvement programs and risk management.
Many surveillance activities (Ambient and Indoor air quality, Water quality, Surfaces, etc.,) in
the hospital are conducted periodically as per standards to ensure none of the people visiting
the hospital acquires hospital acquired infections.
Various audits like hand hygiene, department audit, live case sheet audit, prescription audit,
critical value reporting audit, etc., are done on a periodic basis to monitor the growth and
development of every individual thereby establishing quality standards. Facility rounds are
done by the operations and quality team every month in the clinical and non-clinical areas to
constantly make sure quality and patient safety are uncompromised.
Staying true to our mission, we are extremely passionate about providing the best care possible
with the state of the art technology to bring about the best quality in all our services offered.
We are constantly on the lookout for recent innovations and quality improvement tools and
technology to bring about a change in certain rhetoric processes, improving the overall quality
of the services provided.
