A medical graduate from the Pravara Medical College Loni, and a MD ( Medical Microbiology) from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune, started his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the Seth G.S. Medical College and the KEM Hospital Mumbai for a period of 2 years.
He served as a Consultant Microbiologist at the Breach Candy Hospital and Research Centre Mumbai for over 8 years, after which he has been working at the Global Hospitals and the Rainbow Hospital for women and Children, Hyderabad for the past 5 years. Has a keen interest in Paediatric and Neonatal Microbiology, apart from Fungal Infections and Clinical Mycology and Antibiotic Resistance.
