Dr. V.P. Jyotsna is a Hyderabad based doctor practicing in the city since 2006.She grew up in Hyderabad and studied in St. Ann’s High school. She was inspired to be a doctor very early in school days and chased her aspiration with diligence.

She qualified 6th in the country to enter the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research(JIPMER), Pondicherry which is ranked in the Top Medical colleges of India. After securing her MBBS degree she pursued her interest in women’s health by taking up Post-graduation at the same college and obtained her M.D. degree in Obstetrics and Gyneclogy in 2005.

In 2007 Dr. Jyotsna has undertaken a certificate course in Advanced laparoscopy at Paul’s hospital Kochi, Kerala and later another course in fertility enhancing surgeries at Dubai with an aim to help women suffering from fertility issues. She has participated in various workshops for Clinical Quality and healthcare improvement. She is an active member of the Indian Society of Perinatology and Reproductive Biology (ISOPARB) and the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI)After her qualification, since 2005 she has worked at various private hospitals like Yashoda Hospitals, The Birthplace and Lifespring hospitals in Hyderabad as a consultant which enriched her experience in High-risk pregnancy cases and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

Dr. Jyotsna deals with all cases of pregnancy and delivery, simple or complicated. She has gained much experience and skill in dealing with gynecological conditions medically and surgically. She has performed many Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries for various surgical conditions in gynecology like abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, complex Tubo ovarian masses, endometriosis, uterine septum,

Endometrial polyps, submucous fibroids, Hysterectomy and many others. She is also well versed in open and vaginal surgeries.Dr Jyotsna is known to be passionate about her work and is dedicated to making every pregnancy safe for her patients.
