Dr. Swetha T Hambir, a Certified Lactation Practitioner, is committed to assisting mothers and babies in their lactation journey. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services (PGDEMS) from Symbiosis Pune. Dr. Hambir transitioned from a background in medicine to specialize in lactation, obtaining her ACLP and becoming a member of ALPI (Association of Lactation Professionals India).
Her professional interests revolve around cases involving preterm infants and mothers, latching techniques, and various feeding positions. Dr. Hambir is dedicated to supporting the mother-baby dyad post-delivery, addressing any feeding challenges, facilitating the return of babies to the mother's breast, and implementing effective weaning techniques.
