He completed his Undergraduation and Post Graduation in Surgery at The Christian Medical College,Vellore. He was the best out-going student of his batch. Following this he worked for 3 years in low-resource setting to make minimally invasive surgery affordable to the lower socio-economic population groups. In order to broaden his reach, he trained in Paediatric Surgery at Niloufer Hospital Hyderabad. Following this, he worked in an under privileged area to provide advanced surgical facilities like Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery,Endourology,Laproscopic Surgery and advanced Gas Insuffiation-Less (Gasless) Laproscopic Surgery for 3years
