Dr G Vijaya Lakshmi is a seasoned specialist with over 43 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology who has been recognized with multiple awards from the state for her work. She served as a Professor of OBGYN in both Osmania Medical College and Gandhi Medical College during her time in government service. She pioneered laparoscopic sterilizations in Andhra Pradesh and was awarded a gold medal by the Chief Minister for her outstanding performance and was also named the best trainer in laparoscopic sterilizations. She was an undergraduate and post-graduate mentor from 1988 until the end of her academic career in 2024.
