Dr. Swetha Reddy. S is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Women Mental Health specialist at
Rainbow Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad with an expertise in management of Mental
health disorders in Perinatal period- Perinatal Psychiatry (dealing with various Psychiatric
issues and their management during Pregnancy and Postpartum Period) and Women’s
mental health offering services to women of all ages dealing with Adolescent mental
health, Pre conception counseling, infertility related psychological issues, trauma and
stress related issues and menopause related psychological issues. She is competent in
managing Major mental health disorders in women such as Schizophrenia and other
Psychotic disorders, Major depressive disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder (BD), Obsessive
compulsive disorder (OCD), other anxiety and impulse control disorder and Substance
use disorders in women. She has conducted various treatment programs for
management of Depressive disorders and BD and High Intensity treatments for OCD.
She has many research publications to her credit, delivered talks and workshops in
national level conferences, presented her research projects at various National and
International Psychiatric Platforms and addressed general public on several mental health
issues.
She is an active member in several Psychiatric societies in India, rendered her services
through Women Mental Health subspecialty section of Indian Association Of Private
Psychiatry- IAPP, currently serving as an active member in Samanwi Group- Indian
Psychiatric Society- Telangana State Branch, aimed to benefit women with various
psychiatric issues.
Dr. Swetha Reddy S has completed her MBBS from Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institue
of Medical Sciences and Research Foundation, Vijayawada, pursued DNB in Psychiatry
(Masters in Psychiatry) at Asha Hospital, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and is a Consultant
Psychiatrist at Asha Hospital with 13 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry,
completed in-depth modules in Perinatal Psychiatry, Mc Lean Hospital- Harvard Medical
School Affliate and Massacheusetts General Hospital.
