Dr. Lakshmi Chirumamilla, an esteemed professional, has been working as a consultant at Nova IVF. Fertility Clinics, Hyderabad, since the August of 2014. While she has 15 years of experience in infertility, before which she worked in the field of gynecology for 6 years, both in India and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Lakshmi holds a reverence of experience in dealing with patients with cases of infertility, including but not limited to recurrent implantation failure, women with poor ovarian response, Polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and Dr. Lakshmi is also trained to diagnose and treat male factor infertility, which often goes unnoticed in many infertile couples. She has always put patient care first, giving the joy of becoming parents to those to whom such opportunities seemed bleak. Having helped bring over 10,000 babies into the world, Dr. Lakshmi understands the need that couples feel when they are unable to make their dreams come to life.
She also performs fertility enhancing surgeries like hysteroscopies, both diagnostic and operative to ensure quality in patient treatment. Along with which, she also holds impressive surgical experience in procedures such as sperm retrieval through PESA (Percutaneous epididymal sperm Aspiration) and TESA (testicular sperm Aspirations).
Dr. Chirumamilla is also a mentor to a new fellow every year, helping pass on her own abundance of knowledge to the future generation, making her become an integral radiation of tower radiation part in the education of many a doctor. She has assisted many fellows in doing research for presentations in various national and international conferences. A few examples of topics taken up for the aforementioned credit are ‘Post Hysteroscopy Analysis of Outcomes in Patients with Previous IVF Failures ‘, Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction Annual Conference in Gurgaon 2017. ‘Predisposing Factors for Ectopic Pregnancy in ART Cycles’, Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of India in Hyderabad 2019 is a research paper that Dr. Chirumamilla had worked on was accepted as a presentation in ASPIRE Conference 2017, regarding ‘Day 5 Embryo Transfer vs Day 3 Embryos Cultured to Day 5 Embryo Transfer’. Alongside all these laurels, a case study that she had investigated was also published.
Dr. Chirumamilla is an invited speaker at many national and local level conferences and actively takes part in conducting infertility and IUI workshops for fellow gynecologists. She also actively participates in. Along with the other accolades she holds, she was a scientific committee member for Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction 2020 Annual Conference (ISAR 2020) and played a key role in the organizing committee.
