Dr. Lakshmee Naorem is a dedicated pediatric nephrologist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience across leading institutions in India. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (2008–2014), followed by postgraduate training in Pediatrics at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi (2016–2019), where her interest in pediatric renal care took root.
She gained hands-on pediatric experience as a Junior Consultant at Mother's Care Children's Hospital, Manipur, before joining Christian Medical College, Vellore. There, she served as a Senior Resident and subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology. During her tenure, she developed advanced skills in managing a wide range of renal conditions, including nephrotic syndrome, congenital nephrotic syndrome, acute glomerulonephritis, lupus nephritis, and ANCA vasculitis.
Dr. Lakshmee has significant expertise in managing acute and chronic kidney disease and is proficient in peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, SLED, CRRT, and plasmapheresis. She has also been actively involved in multiple pediatric kidney transplants in collaboration with expert urologists.
