Dr. Manashi Sarmah is a highly experienced
Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist with over 14 years of expertise in
clinical and academic settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiology and
Speech-Language Pathology and is currently pursuing her PhD to advance research
in the field. As the Head of the Department, Dr. Sarmah specializes in Paediatric
and Diagnostic Audiology, Speech and Language Assessment and Therapy,
Diagnostic Audiology, Cochlear Implant Audiology, and Auditory Verbal
Habilitation. She has a keen interest in Pediatric and Cochlear Implant Audiology
and works extensively with children with hearing and speech disorders. Fluent
in English, Assamese, Hindi, and Bengali, she is well-equipped to serve a
diverse patient population. Her patient-centered approach combines
evidence-based practice with compassionate care, particularly in supporting
children with cochlear implants and speech and language delays. Dr.
Sarmah is dedicated to improving communication outcomes and is committed to
early intervention and lifelong support for individuals with hearing and speech
challenges.
