Dr. Saroja Velpula is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with expertise in maternal and fetal health, high-risk pregnancy care, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine. She is committed to providing patient-focused, high-quality, evidence-based care to women with complex pregnancies and pregnancies affected by confirmed or suspected fetal disorders. Her clinical interests include maternal–fetal medicine, high-risk obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, fetal medicine, obstetric ultrasonography, minimal access surgery and infertility evaluation. She is also experienced in evidence-based and emergency obstetric care, with a focus on fetal health and outcomes for women and their families. Dr. Saroja has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at NRI Medical College and previously worked as a Senior Consultant at Samatha Multispeciality Hospital and as a Senior Resident at Siddhartha Government Medical College, Vijayawada. Her academic and professional training includes MBBS from Government Medical College, Guntur, DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from St. Isabel’s Hospital, Chennai, MRCOG (UK) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a Basic Ultrasound Course, and FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery). She has received recognition for academic work, including a first prize for poster presentation at OGSICon 2016 and a paper presentation at APOG 2019. Her special training includes basic obstetric ultrasound, minimal access surgery, advanced maternal and fetal medicine, and evidence-based obstetric practice. She is a member of VOGS and FOGSI and is committed to women’s health, maternal–fetal well-being and academic excellence.
