She was the BMJ finalist in India 2014 for “Reducing caesarean section in a non-profit hospital in urban India” Dr Rinku has been a co-investigator in many maternity care-related projects in collaboration with ICMR. She has more than 25 national and international publications to her credit and has played a leading role in several quality improvement projects including optimizing antibiotic use in low-risk laboring women.

She has been a mentor for GOI Laqshya Initiative QI Improvement projects. Experience Dr RinkuSen Gupta Dhar has over 25 years of experience in various fields of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her particular areas of interest include reducing interventions in maternity care with a special focus on reducing Caesarean sections and routine episiotomies.
