Dr. Rohan Grotra is a Consultant in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition with over four years of clinical experience in managing complex gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders in children. He completed his MD in Pediatrics from Sawai Man Singh Medical College and pursued Senior Residency in Pediatrics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he also completed a three-year Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. He has been awarded the prestigious Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), India, in recognition of his academic excellence and contribution to medical research.
Dr. Rohan has expertise in diagnosing and managing conditions such as neonatal cholestasis, acute and chronic liver failure, celiac disease, chronic diarrhoea, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC), Alagille syndrome, refractory constipation, and Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). He has a special interest in monogenic IBD and complex esophageal strictures and is skilled in pediatric therapeutic endoscopy. He has also contributed to pioneering work on dynamic esophageal stenting (DES) techniques for refractory corrosive strictures in children.
An active academician, Dr. Rohan has authored publications in international peer-reviewed journals, contributed to book chapters, and presented award-winning research at national and international conferences, including ESPGHAN, Helsinki. He was also honoured with the OP Ghai Award for Best Senior Resident at AIIMS in 2024.
