Dr. Akila Sivakumar graduated her MBBS from Govt Mohan Kumar Mangalam medical college, Salem. completed her post-graduation in pediatrics from BRS hospital, Chennai and secured DNB from National board of examinations New Delhi.
As she is passionate is treating sick children, she chooses pediatric emergency medicine(PEM) as her post-doctor fellowship in pediatric emergency from the prestigious institute of child health and hospital for children, Egmore Chennai which serves the highest volume of pediatrics emergency in the state.
She has a total 14 years of clinical experience with 9 years in pediatric emergency and intensive care was associated with Dr.Kamakshi memorial hospital as consultant in pediatric emergency and intensive care.
She is a master trainer for the pediatric pediatrician & emergency medicine training for doctor & nurses all over Tamil Nadu under TAEI( Tamil Nādu accident & emergency initiative) by national health mission , India.
