Dr.Geetha has more than 10 years of experience in managing pediatric patients. She has completed her DNB Pediatrics from the prestigious KanchiKamakoti Child Trust Hospital, Chennai. Given the vast difference across age groups, she realized the necessity of a qualified emergency physician, an under-recognised field in Pediatrics and hence specialised as a Pediatric Emergency Physician. She brings with her a calm personality with good communication skills. Her multilinguistic skills are an asset to any hospital. She has presented papers at national and international emergency medicine conferences. She is a certified PALS trainer and takes immense pleasure in training medical and lay people on the readiness to act during emergencies.
She believes in spreading awareness of the preventive aspects related to children and their environment. She has given numerous talks on preventive aspects of pediatric medicine. She is currently working as a full-time Pediatrician at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Chennai managing the pediatric emergency room and providing outpatient consultation.
