Dr. Madhumithra D S is a pediatrician and pediatric intensivist practicing at Bellundur, Sarjapur Rd, Bengaluru. He did his postgraduation in pediatrics at Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of hospitals, Mumbai, one of the premier medical educational institutes in india and oldest medical colleges in Asia established in 1845. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Neonatology at another top institute of Mumbai, Topiwala National Medical College(Nair Hospital, Mumbai Central). His interest in treating acutely sick children lead him to train in the area of pediatric intensive care; he completed his fellowship in critical care medicine offered by central academic body in pediatrics, Indian College of Pediatrics at Rainbow children hospital, Bengaluru. He went on to work as a junior consultant in Asia’s largest pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru. He was awarded Diploma in Pediatric Sleep Medicine by Global Chest Initiatives at University of Colorado, USA in collaboration with Shishuka Hospitals Bengaluru after completion of elaborate training in the field.
His areas of interest includes:

- Asthma and Pediatric Allergies
- Sleep medicine
- Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) in emergency and intensive care and Neurointensive care.
He has special interest in Healthcare Economics and Management. He is an alumnus of prestigious Indian institute of Management, Kozhikode where he completed his Professional Certificate Program in Healthcare Management. As an ardent clinician with extensive experience in pediatrics and intensive care medicine, Dr. Madhumithra believes in providing the best care to every child.
