Mrs. Rajiya Galeel Bhasha is an experienced Lactation Consultant with over 20 years of expertise in maternal and infant care. She holds a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing (OBG), is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC, USA), and is a certified Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) specialist through the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI).
She currently serves as a Senior Lactation Consultant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Rajiya has supported more than 15,000 mothers and families across a wide spectrum of maternal and neonatal care. She is also actively involved in training and mentoring healthcare professionals through educational programs, workshops, and guest lectures.
Mrs. Rajiya has extensive experience in the clinical management of complex feeding challenges, including latch difficulties, milk supply concerns, painful nursing, pumping strategies, relactation, and breastfeeding following breast surgery. In addition, she provides specialized feeding support for NICU and preterm babies from day one, as well as individualized care for infants with oral restrictions such as tongue-tie or a high-arched palate. She offers guidance across all stages of parenthood, including prenatal preparation, returning to work, weaning, and alternative feeding options.
Mrs. Rajiya is committed to protecting the "Golden Hour"—the critical first hour after birth—to give every baby a strong, healthy start.
