Dr. Aditya .J. Baindur is a consultant Pediatric and Neonatal Surgeon based in Bengaluru. He has specialized training in the surgical management of newborns, infants and children, including complex congenital conditions, pediatric emergencies and minimally invasive surgery.
He completed his MBBS and MS from Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, followed by MCh in Pediatric Surgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He has received training at high-volume tertiary centres including Victoria Hospital and Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital, Bengaluru, and SMS Hospital, Jaipur.
His training includes experience in a high-volume 200-bed pediatric surgical unit and a 28-bed dedicated surgical NICU, with exposure to complex neonatal surgeries, congenital anomalies and critically ill pediatric patients.
Dr. Aditya has a strong academic and research background, with over 16 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, including several systematic reviews. He has also reported the world's first laparoscopic procedure in heteropagus twins.
His clinical interests include Hypospadias surgery, neonatal surgery, minimally invasive and laparoscopic pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, pediatric thoracic surgery, and pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery.
