Dr Lonima Sarma has been working as a General Paediatrician, her career spanning over a period of 15 years in the field of Paediatrics.

She had completed both her graduation and post-graduation from Assam (Govt.) Medical college and Hospital. During her PG training in Paediatrics, she had gained considerable expertise in handling neonatal and paediatric patients. Then, she joined Down Town Hospital (Guwahati) momentarily, after which she had shifted to Bengaluru to enhance her experience and expertise professionally. She had been associated with multiple hospitals in Bengaluru like Manipal Hospital (Old Airport Road), CMH (Indira nagar), and Cloudnine Hospital (Old Airport Road) handling SCNU, Paediatric Emergency and Paediatric OPD prior to joining Rainbow Children’s Hospital (Marathahalli) as a General Paediatric Consultant.

She assiduously prioritizes on staying updated in her field to optimize patient care by regularly attending various academic sessions (being a life member of Indian Academy of Paediatrics) and practicing evidence based medicine.
