Subsequently, she completed her post-graduation in Psychiatry (M.D. Psychiatry) from KIMS Bangalore and received the best outgoing student award in M.D. Psychiatry from Rajiv Gandhi University (RGUHS). She also received the prestigious KateelAppuPai “Manasa" award from the Indian Psychiatry Society (IPS- KC). She did her training in child psychiatry at the prestigious National Institute Of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) and completed her D.M. in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the same institution. She is well-versed in the evaluation and management of autism, attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome (ADHD), depression, anxiety and other childhood and adolescent disorders. She has a special interest in the field of preventive child psychiatry and areas related to parenting, maternal mental health/postpartum depression, child abuse, school bullying, stress disorders and life skills training.
