Dr. Faiz is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist with over 11 years of expertise in providing comprehensive healthcare to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. He is currently consulting at Rainbow Children's Hospital & BirthRight, Hebbal and Hennur, where he is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centred care, ensuring that every child receives personalized medical attention from birth through adolescence. His approach combines advanced clinical knowledge with empathy, helping parents confidently navigate their child's healthcare journey.
Dr. Faiz completed his MBBS from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from KIMS Hospital, Hubballi. He further specialized by earning his DNB in Paediatrics from Mehta Children's Hospital, Chennai, where he gained extensive experience managing complex paediatric illnesses in a tertiary care environment. He also completed a Fellowship in Neonatology from the National Neonatology Forum (NNF), strengthening his expertise in neonatal intensive care and the management of critically ill newborns.
His clinical interests include neonatal intensive care, management of premature and low birth weight babies, neonatal jaundice, respiratory distress syndrome, birth asphyxia, neonatal infections, and comprehensive care of high-risk newborns. He is equally proficient in treating common childhood illnesses, paediatric emergencies such as asthma attacks, seizures, severe dehydration, and infectious diseases.
Dr. Faiz is committed to preventive paediatrics through vaccination programs, developmental assessments, nutritional counselling, and regular health check-ups. He strongly believes that early diagnosis, preventive care, and parental education play a significant role in ensuring a child's healthy growth and development.
