Dr. Vivek MS is a Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician in Electronic City, Bengaluru, with over 5 years of experience in neonatal and pediatric care. He is recognized for his expertise in managing critically ill and high-risk newborns, including extremely preterm infants requiring advanced intensive care support. He completed his MBBS from Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences and his MD in Pediatrics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi. He subsequently underwent advanced neonatal training at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli, Bengaluru, gaining extensive experience in tertiary-level neonatal intensive care.
Dr. Vivek has special expertise in the management of high-risk neonates, neonatal ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling therapy), neonatal infections, and comprehensive newborn intensive care. He has a keen interest in bedside neonatal ultrasonography and evidence-based neonatal practice. In addition to clinical care, he is actively involved in the training and mentoring of medical residents and nursing professionals. As a Pediatrician, Dr. Vivek provides comprehensive care for infants and children, with a focus on infectious diseases, immunization services, nutrition counselling, growth assessment, and developmental monitoring.
