Dr Kavya Chikkanna has completed Fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology, FRGUHS, from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. She obtained her MD degree in Dermatology from the prestigious KS Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore. She is an alumnus of RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore, from where she obtained her MBBS degree. Dr Kavya Chikkanna has extensive experience in both paediatric and aesthetic dermatology and has worked in various centres in Bangalore.
Dr Kavya Chikkanna has undergone multiple
trainings in Procedural Dermatology and Dermato-surgery. She is certified and
regularly practices Aesthetic Dermatology in Lasers, Injectables like Botox and Fillers. She
has obtained International observership from DIAS for Aesthetic Dermatology and
Injectables like Botox and Fillers. She has more than 10 years of experience in medical
field and 5 years of experience in specialising in Dermatology. Dr Kavya also
has multiple publications, both International and National publications in
reputed journals.
Dr Kavya Chikkanna is a passionate medical
educator and has been actively involved in training postgraduates and
undergraduate medical students. She is a member of the prestigious IADVL,
Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists. She is
also a member of International Society for Paediatric Dermatology, Indian
Society for Paediatric Dermatology, Bangalore Dermatological Society. Dr Kavya
Chikkanna regularly attends National and State Conferences and keeps updating
with current developments in the field. She has also presented in many regional
and international CMEs and Conferences for dermatologists.
